FAQ's (Frequently Asked Questions) How can I get a library card? Library cards are free to residents of the Town of East Fishkill with proper identification such as a driver's license, checkbook, or utilities bill. How long can I keep materials out?
Does the library have a photocopy machine? Yes, the library has a coin operated photocopy machine that is $ .15 per page. Does the Library have Internet access? Yes, Yes and Yes 1-The library has six public Internet computers. Rules for their use are outlined in the Library's Internet Policy. SAM, which stands for Smart Access Management, manages the public access computers, used for Internet, word processing and other computer operations. Sessions are for one hour. You will need to have your library card with you to use the library's computers. A 'guest pass' is available at the Circ Desk for those who do not have a library card. 2- There are three 'Internet Express' computers available for fifteen minutes use at the stand up kiosk adjacent to the public computer cluster. 3- The Library also has wireless access for those who bring their own laptop computers enabled to use a wireless network. Can I renew items? Yes, you can renew an item once as long as no other patron has requested the piece. You can renew online using the Renew My Items link, in person or by calling the Circulation Desk at 221-9943. |
